So a lumberjack from the 1700s can be 100% the same if you choose -- except that they aren't going to freak out over the shock of "SPACE TRAVEL IS IMPOSSIBLE! HOW DO OTHER ALIENS WORK!? For CRAU: Just explain the games they're coming from, did their personality change, and what experiences shaped that. <b>Desired position on ship:</b> You can just remain a passenger, Smoker doesn't give a fuck unless you fuck shit up for him. They're pretty post-scarcity, so resources aren't limited, but don't expect to be slaved over. When you're not actually a paying customer, there's no reason for anyone for to kiss your ass. What are you gonna do? Complain? ALTERNATELY: being a passenger on a cruise ship that is also exploring the stars and probably sent on a special suicide death mission to lure political opponents into fights, and literally spend money for REASONS, can get kind of boring. Why don't you take up a hobby? Or a "job?" Triple alternately: maybe your character IS desperate for money, and all but enslaved to their debts, even worse, ANY pay you get, doesn't go directly to you, it goes back home to your debtors/bankers/family etc. Smoker sympathizes, but there's only so much he can do, because his money doesn't come to him either \:|/ Sux, fam. For CRAU: Well going through Witches Reign gave him a far more cynical world view than he had previously as well as latent PTSD issues which he since worked through. Going through Genessia directly after sort of helped him settle down so his depression became more of an ennui. He's still in it to win it or at least get the consolation prize, but he's not quite as enthusiastic and warm and meaning it as he once was. Still he's always out to offer advice or a friendly smile or Sex on the Beach.

For CRAU:

After the events of the manga, Hei decided he really was not suited to help his world anymore. Jobs always came with killing, and he got tired of that, choosing instead to board a ship. Anyone and everyone just wanted him, so he severed all connections and fled. Of course, being a ship that he believes requires more of a peppy crew, he returned to using a new alias: Nanashi Kuroda. Really, it's just a new name compared to Lee Shengshun. As such, unless someone figures out who he really is, they will likely see him as someone passionate about food and almost always in a good mood, despite a few mistakes on occasion. Only mistakes never made are oddly in the kitchen due to his passion for cooking being genuine.

Desired position on ship: Cook; if not, then Janitor is good.

Differences from Canon: OU
- The Goddess Athena sends him to the ship here after he fulfilled his duty as a soldier to her after the Holy War with Hades is over and he pretty much "reborn" on the ship after his death
- He lets his apprentice, Kiki take over his spot as the Aries Saint at the Aries temple as his successor, so Mu is no longer duty bound with Goddess Athena with her permission
- He wanted an adventure and Athena just wants him to be happy and explore the stars and the Universe
- He pretty much wanted to expand his own character for character development and learn what the universe has to offer

Desired position on ship: Started off as a Passenger, but Nurse probably? He isn't trained to be a medical doctor, so being a nurse is close enough and he can study books while being on board. Mu is better suited as a healer even though he was a trained martial artist. He might be interested in being a scientist too. He can take what he learns from the ship's libraries and available teachers, and whatever information is available
