happy_senseiYes it sucks if you're underage and want to play here, but there's going to be a lot of adult content, and while most of it will be under cuts or have warnings, we mods aren't omnipotent, and we just don't want to run into any problems with that sort of thing.
Rule #2, Don't kink shame!
This is an adult game with a lot of people playing their own adult themed things. If a player wants to have their character throw poo at their room's wall, they're welcome to do so. If someone wants to be choked to death, that is also possible! So long as all players involved consent to it, you can do nearly anything you want. With that being said, all players involved must be consenting. If somebody gets bullied or dragged into something they're uncomfortable with, the accused will likely get a warning, and both parties will likely not get to play with one another anymore. If you are bullied or pressured into something you're uncomfortable with, be sure to take screencaps and tell your mods! At the same time, try to be civil and understanding and politely but firmly tell people when you're not interested in ever playing a kink.
Rule #3, APPROPRIATELY PUT WARNINGS FOR 18+ CONTENT!!!
I cannot stress this one enough, it is probably the single most important rule. Not everyone is here for smut, not everyone is here for gore, and the grand majority of people aren't here for anything that belongs in the toilet, so if you're going to play with any sensitive subjects, put it under a cut and warn people. If a thread in a post devolves into 18+ content, make sure it's in your post or the other party's and not somebody else's unless they specifically say they're okay with it. Be sure that if a thread gets 18+ that you put warnings in the subject line that are clear, and possibly certain keywords to identify what kind of content if it's more extreme.
Rule #4, Stay in character as much as possible!
This one can be tricky, especially since the premise AUs your character to being allowed to be on an endless vacation, but even so try to stay true to your character's personality and canon. We don't want to see Erza Scarlet squealing and hiding behind a man for protection, or Luffy deciding he wants to follow orders and give up on ever being king of the pirates.
Rule #5, Avoid godmodding, infomodding, or powergaming
While this is supposed to be a fun and casual game, it should be a fun and casual game for everybody. Please refrain from dictating what someone else's character does, or what your character does to a character without permission from the other player. Some people can have a hard time with this sort of thing when writing 18+ content, but if you're already going that direction with a player it should be pretty easy to ask how they feel about it.
As to infomodding, there's going to be mystery and intrigue in this game, adventure and exploration! If you're playing more than one character and character A learns something that character B doesn't know, character B still doesn't necessarily know it. If your character is lying on deck doing nothing but star bathing, eating snacks, and reading a book, and you are reading someone else's thread where information is being discussed, don't assume your character knows this information unless they're deliberately eavesdropping.
As to powergaming, we are being flexible and letting characters keep most of their canon abilities. Exceptions to this are characters that have omnipotence, because please bear in mind the godmodding and infomodding. Any malady brought about by a character's powers can be cured at the ship's state of the art doctor's office.
Rule #6, Don't mix up IC and OOC!
This is the second most important rule! It's a very easy trap to fall into if you're a method actor, but it's also easy if you get really attached to your character. When a character is mean to your character, please don't assume the player is being mean to you, if a character falls in love with your character, DEFINITELY don't assume that the player has. You are not your character, other players are not their characters.
Rule #7, Fourthwalling
This one should be pretty self explanatory, but makes sure you get another player's permission before having your character break the 4th wall with them. Also please refrain from having your character break the 4th wall unless it is in their nature to do so.
Rule #8, No Wank
Seriously, seriously, just keep it away from this comm. Please don't post to wankgate if you're a member of this comm. Please respect your fellow players, and if you have grievances discuss it like a civil human being, or take it to one of us mods and we'll try to mediate. Being a wanking jerk that tries to get other players to quit just because they don't like them is grounds for immediate removal from this game. Always remember that you don't have to play with someone, even if they are a cast mate. If someone never responds to any of your attempts to RP with them, please understand that the person may not want to play with you.
Rule #9, Three strikes and you're out
If you have received a warning from the mods, you will get a strike. If you reach three warnings you and all the characters you play will be removed from the game. A strike will only last for one year, so if you behave yourself you can have your strikes removed and earn some forgiveness. A ban from the game requires the approval of at least 2 mods, even if you have earned all three strikes. If three or more mods approve a removal, you can be removed even if you have no strikes.
Rule #10, Character Apps
There are no apps for canon characters who wish to be passengers, but it is advised that you have a few sentences explaining how your character has been AU'd into this game (if necessary) in your character profile. If you are planning to be a member of the staff, even as a waitress, bartender, doctor, or whatever profession your character might normally have in canon, you must submit an app. Players who fail to apply and try to work on the ship will get a warning that counts against the three strike system. (Please bear in mind this does not include things like going up to the bar to get drinks for your friends, but if you're serving everyone in the bar you may get a warning.)
Rule #11, No player/muncest
While we're allowing you to play all sorts of characters from all sorts of canons, please refrain from playing with yourself. There are space time distortions on the Relation Ship that will keep players with multiple different characters from having those characters meet up if necessary. Just be patient and hopeful, surely someone might play that character you want to thread with someday!

Infirmary
This incredibly elaborate doctor's office offers miracle cures from all over space and time, everything from Aspirin to boring holes in your head to let out evil spirits. Whatever level of medical care you're comfortable with, our ship will be happy to provide! Doctors, nurses, psyche majors, shamans, and healers, are all welcome to apply for positions and may even be given their own office for those who desire specialized care. In the center of all the medical facilities is the great reconstruction device which will bring back to life any passenger or crew that dies while traveling on the ship or to any world visited. It takes the machine one hour to fully reconstruct a character, so please don't make a habit of dying on us. Repeated deaths will require a character to visit one of our psychiatric specialists to make sure they are OK.

Gift Shop
When the Relation Ship visits different worlds there will be all sorts of memorabilia and knickknacks from those worlds in the gift shop, available for purchase by use of the given world's currency.

Poop Deck
Not to be confused with a deck for pooping, the poop deck is the top most portion of the ship where the starlight restaurant, the starlight pool, and starlight lounge are all located. There are also washroom facilities, so please keep any poop jokes there.
Starlight Pool: This pool like most parts of the poop deck has a ceiling that is completely see through, letting natural starlight illuminate the entire setting during the night time hours. During the day, an artificial sun and blue sky are superimposed with fluffy white clouds for an always perfect day at the pool.

Starlight Restaurant: This restaurant is the perfect place for a date, or just enjoying a meal with candles under the starlight. The menu is much more restrictive than room-service, but our staff can ensure the best quality you'll find anywhere on the ship.

Starlight Lounge: This classy bar is a great hot spot for singles and nearly any drink is served here upon request. The ships entertainers will usually perform here, or at Loretta's nightclub.

Nude Deck
Definitely not to be confused with the poop deck, or any other deck for that matter. This level of the ship is completely clothing optional, there are cabins here for residents who wish to remain in the buff 24/7, and its very own dining area that is thoroughly sterilized every hour on the hour. Remember that just because someone is nude on this deck, does not mean they are giving you consent to touch them!
Loretta's dance studio
The dance floor is wooden, smoothly grained pine. The ceilings are arched, with natural acoustics to allow music to blast through the crowd. A circular stage at the end of the room allows for the instructor to be viewed by all.
By day, it is a dance studio, the mirrored walls reflecting the students attempts at dancing whenever a class is come.
By night, the darkened room is easily converted into a night club - the stage becomes a platform for DJs, the mirrors reflect multicolored lights, and the floor... well, it's already a dance floor.
Kitchens
These state of the art kitchens are capable of cooking and preparing food from anywhere in the cosmos out of just about anything. Some guests have special needs and a special set of cooks will see to these needs. (Here's looking at you Hannibal Lecter) With that said, you can feel free to get hunting licences in many of the worlds the ship travels to, and bring back what you catch to the kitchen to have it cooked, or prepare it yourself. If you want to have a meal prepared by a specific chef, not to worry! Thanks to our latest time warping technology, we can have your order given to the chef at a different hour than when you ordered it, and have it delivered to you within seconds!

Greenhouse
The ship has massive farms with artificially simulated sunlight for crops, livestock, and air supplies. We are always looking for farmers who'd like to lend a helping hand during harvest seasons, and with each world visited, different kinds of crops may get introduced.

Cabins
Each Cabin can be customized by its residents to have sizes varying from a small warehouse to a cubicle for a mouse. There are a series of standard layouts for residents who do not wish to customize their room, or don't have the technical savvy to customize their room. These cabins are your new homes away from home, so any form of decorum inside of them is considered acceptable. Be warned that if you go into a passenger's cabin, security officers take no responsibility for what may happen to you inside. If a passenger has gone into another passenger's cabin, and has not left within 48 hours, a courtesy room-service bot will be sent to check if both passengers are okay and escort any passenger held there against their will.
Security Command HQ
This is the hub for all security rooms on the entire ship, where security officers can watch various parts of the ship on camera, and monitor situations. Remember to refrain from any thefts, murders, or assaults while on this ship unless you want ship security potentially knocking at your cabin door. (Criminal characters are still encouraged to play and try to steal, assault, or murder things, just be sure you okay it with another player and let a security officer know if you want your character caught!)

Locker/Dungeon/Vault
The Relation Ship has many of the universe's most high tech locking and safety mechanisms in the world. High problem guests are sometimes locked in cells down here, or valuables and impounded vehicles can also be found in this labyrinth of locked doors, cells, and filing cabinets. The security officers of this ship are also tasked with overseeing the protection of these vaults. This elaborate and decorative dancing hall is designed after a late renaissance French ballroom, with crystal chandlers, golden archways, and a majestic mural on the ceiling depicting a majestic mountainside in late summer. This ballroom may be reserved by characters for special occasions and is the location for many of the ships sponsored events. This massive stadium hosts events from football games, to gladiator duels, to pokemon battles, all your sports needs can be fulfilled at this high tech, ever changing field of challenge! If you want to duke it out without messing up your cabins, then feel free to take it to the Grand Arena! There are private dueling rooms for one on one matches without an audience, and of course the grand arena itself for our biggest contests! Make sure to reserve a time slot a week in advance for large scale events, and be sure to make your time in the arena amazing! (Positions Open) Connected to the grand arena is a place where all manner of athletes and fighters can get in shape! This state of the art facility has everything the heart could desire when it comes to getting physically fit. Whether it's simple dumbbells and punching bags that can withstand mortar rounds, to treadmills, fighting simulations, obstacle courses, jungle gyms, combat droids of varying difficulties from 1 to 10, and so much more! It is a veritable playground of potential, but also has a serious side to it. There are pools, hot tubs, baths, and showers, for men, women, or mixed bathing! So come on down, work up a sweat, and burn off some of those holiday calories! (Positions Open) Not everything is fun and games 24/7, and some of you adults may have decided to bring children with you that still need to be educated. Perhaps you want to apply for a job on the ship, but you're simply not qualified? Perhaps you want learn simply for the sake of learning! Whether it's geometry, history, creative writing, blacksmithing, cooking, martial arts, law enforcement, or pokemon battling, we have courses for you! Do I need to App?
Only OCs, CRAUs, and Crew members need to apply!
How many characters can I bring?
There is no character cap for passengers! You can only play up to five crew members, however, and can only app one per month
What characters can be apped?
You may bring in any character you like, from any fandom. If there is not a fandom wiki available, we may ask for a simple link to the source material if a character is not recognized. OCs, and CRAUs are also allowed, though they must app!
Are multiples of a character allowed?
Sorry, but we are not allowing multiples of the same character at this time. Please check the crew list to see which characters are in the game.
What do I need to do before I join, post, or respond to someone else's post?
Please be sure to read the travel brochure before posting or replying to players!
Is there any AC?
Crew members must pass a bimonthly AC check where they must show us they have at least had 3 comments of their own. Otherwise you don't ever have to worry about AC checks! (Isn't that nice?)
Is this a game, or a dressing room
This is a game, not just a dressing room. There will be an ongoing plot, story line, and adventures that characters may come play with. However there is no AC check for passengers, so you can come and go as you please to play with whoever or whatever you like!
What can characters bring with them?
Characters can bring whatever will fit into a duffel bag, or large suitcase.
What about pets
Characters can have up to 6 pets! This includes things like Pokemon, or stellar spirits, as well as normal household pets.
About the Setting
Is there any currency on board?
There is no currency on the ship! All passengers are given free passage because they have won a lifetime free cruise with our ship lines! Some people don't want to vacation 24/7, so some may choose to become crew members to give back to the community that has provided for them so much. (This may see change in the future depending on player feedback)
There is, however, currency on the worlds that the ship visits. If your player wants to buy anything special during a visit, they must do work on that world to earn the local currency!
My character has special dietary needs - will the ship provide?
If your character has special dietary needs, the Relation Ship is able to provide! Our state of the art kitchens are capable of pulling ingredients from all over the cosmos, some from doomed timelines, and some from a farm designed specially to provide for the ship. If your character for some bizarre reason can only eat unborn babies, we've got you covered! (you sick freak)
Do my characters keep their powers?
Your characters are allowed to keep the grand majority of their powers, but bear in mind that the Relation Ship might prevent you from doing certain things. If you have the ability to become gigantic you may find yourself stuck because the ship won't break, and rebuilds itself in seconds if it does. If you have the power to destroy a planet... You may find the Relation Ship is made of even tougher stuff. If you attack a player, ask for the player's consent first. Most gigantic characters such as Gozilla will be sized down in the first place, but be given a space/time distorting room that allows for the full size comfort.
My character has their own ship, or their own giant death robot, can they bring that along too?
Fun fact! The relationship can teleport any ship and scale it down so it can fit comfortably inside your cabin! You will need special approval to be allowed to bring it to other worlds with you, but you're allowed to keep it in your cabin at all times! Any vehicle found on or within 100 ft of the Relation Ship, will be instantly transported to the Ship's locker for processing.
What if my characters are killed?
There is no perma-death on the Relation Ship. Any character that dies will find themselves reconstituted back in the medical wing within an hour's time. Please don't try to abuse this system simply to get around faster, because your character may be kept in the medical bay longer if the reason for your death is discovered to be a poor one.
What if my characters can't speak english??
They can, now! Unless your character is intentionally trying to speak in their own language, everything is automatically translated by mind altering wave length particles. This does not include characters such as pets that do not canonically speak.
